Kareen Dilmohamed is the Chief Financial Officer of Concept Blue, where she brings more than 30 years of experience leading high-impact financial strategy across real estate, healthcare, education, and entrepreneurial ventures. Since joining Concept Blue in 2022, Kareen has been instrumental in building the financial infrastructure to support the company’s ambitious, scalable development portfolio—leading the creation of robust financial models to guide strategic decision-making, achieve financial goals, and support investor reporting for complex, multi-phase projects.

Prior to Concept Blue, Kareen served as Vice President of Finance at BDC Advisors, a national healthcare strategy consulting firm. There, she led financial operations across multiple workstreams, implemented project-level KPI tracking, and built cash flow forecasting models that became critical to executive decision-making. She also spearheaded the development of an equity incentive plan and played a lead role in reviewing and refining the firm’s operating agreements, ensuring alignment between growth strategy and governance.

Kareen was a key architect of a successful company sale, where she led all aspects of the transaction—including legal coordination, IT and IP transfer, financial due diligence, deal modeling, cash management, and post-close investment allocation. Her stewardship ensured a clean transaction process, accurate forecasting, and a compelling financial story for potential acquirers.

Her expertise extends into investment strategy and portfolio oversight, where she regularly evaluates fund performance, risk-reward dynamics, and portfolio diversification to optimize returns for corporate and personal holdings.

Earlier in her career, Kareen was responsible for financial oversight of the Venture Design Initiative at the School Board of Broward County, managing budgets, external audits, and grant compliance for an innovation-focused public education program. She also successfully founded and operated a restaurant in Kingston, Jamaica, gaining hands-on entrepreneurial and operational experience.

Kareen began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an external auditor, where she built a strong foundation in audit, compliance, and cross-industry financial operations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Taxation from Nova Southeastern University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Known for her precision, strategic thinking, and calm leadership, Kareen is a driving force behind Concept Blue’s financial performance and long-term growth.
