Dwon Matthews has been the Chief Executive Officer of Concept Blue since June 2022, bringing a unique
blend of real estate development experience, construction technology leadership, and strategic business
acumen.
Real Estate and Development
Dwon began his real estate career in 1989 and became a successful independent developer in 2001. He
founded and operated a construction company focused on residential and mid-sized multifamily
properties before expanding into new residential construction—work he continues to lead today. His
decades of hands-on development experience provide a strong foundation for Concept Blue’s efforts to
design and build forward-thinking, sustainable communities.
3D Concrete Printing & Construction Technology (Since 2020)
Since 2020, Dwon has been part of a groundbreaking team advancing 3D concrete printing (3DCP)
technology. He played a key role in the development of a dedicated 3DCP facility and helped engineer
patent-pending printing systems and materials designed to improve speed, reduce cost, and increase
the resilience of residential construction. This innovative approach is central to Concept Blue’s strategy
for transforming modern real estate development.
Strategic Planning & Education
In addition to his real estate career, Dwon has been an entrepreneur and strategic consultant in the
financial services industry since 1993. His consulting background includes financial risk management,
strategic modeling, and organizational development. He has designed and delivered workforce training
programs in areas such as anti-money laundering and mortgage servicing and is a state-approved
instructor who authored licensing and continuing education curricula for insurance adjusters.
